Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society Garden Tour 2022

July 23, 2022

Looking Down on the Victory Garden

On Saturday, July 16, the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society hosted its annual garden tour. The event was well attended and showcased all of the gardens that they do such a beautiful job of maintaining in the village. Dig the Moon performed at the Chamber of Commerce. At Maryboro Lodge, Marilyn Britt demonstrated flower painting, with onsite exhibitions on earthworms and beeswax. Volunteer Anna Croxall hosted a special session in the school house while onsite activities included making flower rockets. The Victory Garden is beginning to produce its bountiful produce for local foodbanks—hundreds of pounds per year, while their other gardens throughout the village make the community so much more vibrant. A wonderful time was had by all.
