Zion Fenelon United Church: Centennial Year 1864-1964 History

By Zion Fenelon United Church

Zion Church started as a Bible Christian chapel, which became a Methodist Church four decades later, in 1904. At the time of Church Union, it joined the United Church of Canada. Originally a frame church, the construction of the present brick structure coincided with the conversion to Methodism. For generations, the Wessell, Webster, Moynes, Worsley, Burnett, Henry and Rumney families attended this church. This history details the evolution of the congregation, and lists many members who contributed over the years.
