Jack Gould grew up at 29 Oak Street, Fenelon Falls and as a teenager opened a business repairing radios. After high school he moved to Toronto, the Second World War Broke out and he enlisted to serve in the Air Force in 1940, as Britain was facing the Blitz. His photo album illustrates the time that he spent training at Gaspe, before he was shipped overseas to serve in Coastal Command.
