Community Gardens

Call 705-887-3136 for more details.

Most days, weather permitting, we work together to create beautiful gardens in our community’s most loved greenspace. This year we are focusing on edibles and pollinators as we plant fruit trees, vegetables and small fruits, and do our part to help ensure a future for our province’s butterflies. We always welcome new recruits and if you are interesting in joining checkout http://www.backyardbuzz.ca/ or call 705-887-3136.

One-Room School

The schoolhouse offers a variety of hands-on activities, including: art, crafts, poetry, stories, a Tinkertoy bridge to outer space, schoolyard games, sending a telegraph, raising a butterfly, dream catchers, Anne Langton art, animation and creating a fairy world.
