Deyman Slat

A Wooden slat that was once part of a shipping crate, recovered from a picture frame. It is marked "L. Deyma[n], Fenelon [Falls]. After the death of his father Humphrey in 1896, Lewis operated Deyman's furniture and undertaking, until he died in 1929. It then passed to his son Cecil.
