Canada Directory (1857/58). Listings such as this are difficult to decipher; was Ross a trapper, or an actual business owner, or both? He was probably a trapper, as there is an Archibald Ross listed in the 1871 Census as a 50 year-old farmer in Lutterworth1 Township.
