Thomas Graham was in partnership with James Arnold from 1890 while operating a grocery, boot and shoe business. The partnership was dissolved by 1894 or ’95. Graham was still listed as a merchant in the summer of 1894 when he married Agnes Ellis, the daughter of John A. Ellis [FFG 3 Aug 1894; 4]. In the late fall of 1895 the Gazette announced that “the store vacated on Tuesday last by Mr. Lamb” is being prepared for Graham & Company. Mr. Thomas Graham “late of the Syndicate store” is the head of the new firm1 [FFG 8 Nov 1895; 4]. Lew Wakely was one of the staff [FFG 19 March 1897; 4]. By 1898 Graham & Co. disappears from the directories, and Thomas is listed as an agricultural implements agent until 1910. After that he appears to have sold pianos. He died on December [20]th, 1921 and is buried in the Fenelon Falls Cemetery [FFPL 21:40].
