Simon Corrier

Simon Corrier drowned in the Fenelon River in July of 1885 while fishing with A. Laliberte. He was either 21 or 24 [both were reported in the papers]. “For about two years he had been employed in the canal blacksmith shop by Mr. McDonald, and bore an excellent character in every respect.” [FFG 11 July 1885; 2] [CP 10 July 1885; 1].
