Mrs. M. [Mary?] Calder

There are two references to an M. Calder. A Mary Calder is recorded in the 1881 Census as a 45 year-old dressmaker. A Mrs. M. Calder is listed in the directories from 1901 to 1911. The relationship of the two is still unknown. There is a chance that Mrs. J.A. and Mrs. M. may be the same person, as the time frame is almost the same (i.e. 1895-1911) and it would have been noted if there were two Mrs. Calders making dresses in the village. Mary [C.] Calder was living with Edward Hand (she was his daughter) in 1901 along with her three children. There is no record of a Mr. Calder in the family group.
