John McGregor McIntyre [ 1840 (Approx.) - ]

John McIntyre is listed in the 1861 Census as a 20 year-old, United Presbyterian merchant clerk, born in Upper Canada. He was the son of the John McIntyre listed above. We can only speculate as to who he was working for; perhaps in the General store noted above. He may have been working for Thomas H. Robinson, a 37 year-old “merchant” who is listed on the next line of the census sheet.
