George Jordan

In 1884 the Gazette stated “Fenelon Falls once more has a law office. Messrs. Barron & Smith having opened one in Jordan’s block, and placed it in charge of Mr. George Jordan, who has been with them for nearly three years, and is approaching the termination of his legal studies” [FFG 27 Dec 1884; 2].

Two years later the Canadian Post again stated that George Jordan would be setting up offices in Fenelon Falls [CP 22 Jan 1886; 5] but there is no evidence that he did so; Jordan may have made occasional business trips to the village during this time.
