The Cassiday Brothers’ only appearance as builders is in the 1869 Province of Ontario Gazetteer and Directory. A 32 year-old, Ontario-born carpenter, William “Cassady” is listed in the 1871 Census of Fenelon Township, so one of the brothers certainly stayed in the area for a few more years.
