- Jeweler 1891 - 1892 (Approx.)
Alex Moore had purchased the watch-making business of R.J. Frost by April of 1891, when Frost left the Falls for Vancouver. The Gazette proudly announced that Alex Moore had succeeded Frost in the advertising columns of the Gazette as well as in the McArthur Block [FFG 1 May 1891; 4], just opposite the post office. He advertised watches, clocks and jewelry as well as watch repairs1 [FFG 27 Nov 1891; 4]. The business disappears from the directories in the summer of 1892.
564 D&B (Sept 1871) lists Moore as selling shoes, but this must be an error, they were confusing Alex Moore with C.W. Moore.
