Stephen Leacock Home

Stephen Leacock Home, Old Brewery Bay. Stephen Leacock, Canada's famed humourist and economist built this home in 1929 on property he had owned since 1907. The house has nineteen rooms, three balconies and a fireplace in every room. Here he spent his summers while a professor of Economics at McGIll University. Leacock designed the house and his benign spirit still pervades it. Open to the public from June to September. Hans Moritz Photo.
