Kawartha Heritage will host a gathering of farm and fibre organizations, including real live sheep, at Maryboro Lodge: The Fenelon Museum. Kawartha Yarn & Fibre Festival is the place where knitters, crocheters, spinners, and felters will all find something perfect for them at the Fenelon Falls Community Centre.

Fashion Show & Tea

Fenelon's Fashion Event for all ages! Kids Activities begin at 10 AM with jewellery making, recycled fashions, dress-up activities, an arts installation, fun zone, balloon sculpting and of course balloon hats! Tea begins at 1:30, with a fashion show featuring many styles from the 1830s to 1930s.

We relive settler experiences with the Anne Langton schoolhouse, settler arts and crafts, a suncatcher activity, fun zone, balloon art, corn roast, authentic Anne Langton dessert biscuits, and Free to Be Flags, celebrating Simcoe's Act Against Slavery.

Celebrate the Kawartha's most famous naturalist and the 100th Anniversary of the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society with outdoor activities for all ages. Tour the beautiful gardens created by the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society, enjoy outdoor-themed arts and crafts, learn about the importance of pollinators, and join us for tea at 1:30. Kids can enjoy outdoorsy activities and a fun zone.

The annual butterfly release, is a memorial event, commemorating loved ones. The butterfly acts as a catalyst for conversation on pollinator conservation. It is celebrated for lightness of being, playfulness, elevation from earthly matters, renewal, rebirth, endurance, and hope. Locally raised butterflies for release are available for $25. Funds support community-based programming at Maryboro Lodge: The Fenelon Museum.

Featuring Juno-nominated children's performers Chris McKhool and Sonshine and Broccoli, a community campfire, corn roast, The Paddling Puppeteers, pool noodle olympics, boat building, a treasure hunt, giant bubbles, a bouncy castle, and even a real mermaid.

The Kawartha's annual architectural tour makes a stop at Maryboro Lodge. Celebrating communications for 2019, visitors can send a message on our telegraph, practice their quill and ink penmanship, and enjoy a variety of activities for children.

Fenelon Falls' annual harvest celebration features seasonal arts and crafts, horse-drawn carriage rides and a lot of Kids activities including balloon art, face painting and a fun zone.
